Dahab Culture
The indigenous people of Sinai are the Bedouin, who until only 20 years ago remained the most unchanged tribe in the world, having retained the same nomadic lifestyle since Biblical times over 2000 years ago.
Many Bedouin now live and work in the growing towns and villages of Sinai, and have been joined by native Egyptians from the mainland.
During your visit to Dahab you'll have ample opportunity to meet both Egyptian and Bedouin people, both of whom are amongst the most friendly, funny and welcoming people in the world. Come join us!
